IPTECHVIEW was created to enhance the power of decentralized intelligent edge-devices. To do this it was important to create a way to securely orchestrate the initial setup but also the future updating and management of geographically dispersed systems and to provide users with a friendlier and easier user experience across different devices and solutions.

Our frameworks provide an agile environment for initial development, a seamless modular growth strategy for both management and the user portal, a software less-rollout, enterprise privileges & access management as well as user interface principles and tools

As a quick example of the power of the platform in the past months, we created a special module for monitoring, reacting to, and archiving data and video for monitoring Elevated Body Temperatures with Thermo Radiometry devices.

We made the application adaptable to devices from two separate manufacturers for Radiometry devices.

The strength of the MOBOTIX TR cameras is the fully integrated camera, high resolution of 328 x 256 (please validate this is just approximate and a guess), fast and reliable Infrared temperature measurement with good calibration and incorporate both video and Infrared imaging sensors in one device.

This unit can be used to scan an area of a room with multiple people to help detect outliers that may have higher body temperature and need to be called out and measured or set up in a more conventional gating and alerting setup.

The strength of this device is the fact that it is mounted more like a stand where people actively go towards to get measured. The device can focus only on one person at a time, basically compatible with the gating and alerting setup of a MOBOTIX thermal camera but designed for more proximity and a more interactive experience.

The Kentix unit is able to interact with a paired MOBOTIX or AXIS camera to pull video of each scan and store it along with the scan data. Both devices have their pros and cons and the best scenario would be to be able to use MOBOTIX cameras in high traffic main entrance areas and the less costly Kentix stands or combos where each Kentix IR unit is paired with a basic MOBOTIX video camera to help with enforcement.

CREATING THE SOLUTION

The problem of all scanning devices is the management of the device, getting proactive alerts in the event of an event and supervising the workflow, documenting the responses to alerts, and archiving the data. 

We developed a single dedicated frontend for both MOBOTIX and Kentix to make operating the solution seamless and easy for the operators. There are no practical user interface differences. Users use the same device and same app with exactly the same workflow, login, permissions, proactive alerts, and resolution protocols.

In the case of MOBOTIX, a few extra features were added to make it easier to calibrate and adjust the camera in MxLINQ by anyone with Special EBT Camera Admin permission so they could make some needed camera calibrations (like in case of weather change) without needing access to the cameras browser interface which puts overall camera settings and security at risk. 

Last but not least the IPT-EBT solution also enables life-long remote monitoring and management of the platform, remote configuration, and remote firmware updates which pays for itself over time and allows for a secure, fast, and premium service level.
